Well, last night I got together with the gals I worked with at Bechtel....30 years ago! That's, Hope Garcia, Pat Cetina, Carmen Newberry Pfeiffer, Jan Nakamura, and Fe Bolton. It was really nice to see everyone doing so well. Pat now lives in Cleveland and is retired. Fe is retired and lives in Palm Springs. Jan is retired and lives near me in Berkeley. Hope and Carmen are still working for Bechtel!!!

I guess it would have been appropriate if my fortune cookie (it was a Chinese restaurant) had said "you will reconnect with old friends this week" given this and my earlier dinner with the Chevron folks... and .... my 40th high school reunion was a week ago and a classmate sent me some pictures from it! I have been corresponding a little with her as well, Barb Pearson, formerly Barb Blodgett.
That is Randy Romine, Steve Stout, and Rob Wells in the first picture; they had a little band called "The Misfits" when we were in school. The second one is Carol Neal and Jack Shelton. I went to elementary school with Randy, Carol and Jack. I remember having a crush on Randy.

Well, that is it for today... Oh, by the way, if you get a chance watch "Ugly Betty". I watched the premiere last night and it is hilarious! and poignant!

Love to all, Lynn
